How to Take Better Photos No Matter Your Lighting

One of the many joys of the event photography business is you never know just where you’ll be working.One day you’ll be photographing a wedding party at an outdoor country club, the next day you’ll be capturing action shots at an indoor sporting event. And while the change in scenery may do wonders for your mental health, bouncing from location to location can make it difficult for you to get your lighting just right.

The amount of light captured in a photograph makes a big difference in the overall quality. Too little light, and the photo is dark. Too much light, and the photo is blown out. While many of today’s cameras take great pictures in most lighting situations, poorly lit photos happen to even the most experienced event photographers.
