The Photobook Builder is a fully automatic binding machine that works with an existing Silver Halide Minilab to turn silver halide prints into professional photobooks and greeting cards, providing retailers with an additional income stream.
FUJIFILM Australia Senior Category Manager - Hardware, Daniel Paul, said the Photobook Builder - which uses award-winning technology - scores, folds, glues, binds and trims the photobook product without any operator intervention.
“In just 2 – 5 minutes, softcover photobooks can be fully built and finished on silver halide paper using your existing minilab,” Mr Paul said.
“Using the auto-fill mode in the Imagine on Kiosk module means that an entire job can be completed in around 10 minutes.
“Using lay-flat technology, customers are able to spread one photo over two pages seamlessly and also create fully customised collages with embellishments, borders and text.
“Photo prints in 8”x12” sizes – which are best produced on Fujifilm Crystal Archive Paper – are used to output 5.7”x8” photobooks that range in size from 10 – 30 pages.
“Simply load your silver halide prints into the stacker, select your product and then press start.
“The Photobook Builder can also produce greeting cards with up to 20 folded greeting cards being produced at once and a capacity of 115 cards per consumable roll,” Mr Paul said.
