Fujifilm has introduced a 3D Print System that enables quick and easy printing of high quality, natural 3D images captured using a 3D digital camera.
The Fujifilm 3D Print System is ideal for offering 3D photography at tourist sites, theme parks, events and other leisure facilities that provide on-site printing services.
Suitable for most locations, the Fujifilm 3D Print System is simple to set up and requires a small foot print for direct printing of 3D images on to dedicated lenticular sheets.
Featuring FUJIFILM’s proprietary Image Intelligence™ and 3D Image Processing technology, the system employs a printing method that uses thermal sublimation to transfer images directly onto lenticular sheets to create a 3D effect.
Four print sizes are available – 6 x 9 inch, 6 x 4 inch, 4 x 6 inch and 5 x 7 inch – and the system is capable of handling a variety of 3D images, including 3D composite scenes using 3D templates and ‘green screen’ installations.
FUJIFILM is a leader in 3D camera technology afterintroducing the world’s first 3D digital camera to capture and display realistic 3D stills and movies, without the need to wear special 3D glasses.
FUJIFILM Australia Senior Category Manager - Hardware, Daniel Paul, said with the huge interest and anticipated growth expected in 3D camera technology, the Fujifilm 3D Print System is an ideal business solution for the provision of value-added services.
