FUJINON XF90mmF2 R LM WR - FUJIFILM’s NEW weather resistant telephoto lens

Fast aperture optic, newly developed Quad Linear Motor, ultra-sharp images, lightweight, compact – ideal for portrait and sport photography

The FUJINON XF90mmF2 R LM WR is the latest NEW addition to FUJIFILM’s line-up of X-Series interchangeable lenses – a weather resistant telephoto lens that is ideal for portrait and sports photography. It will be available in Australia from July 2015.

The FUJINON XF90mmF2 R LM WR is compact and lightweight weighing just 540 grams. It has a large maximum aperture with a minimum working distance of 60cm, delivering a wide shooting range.

Newly developed Quad Linear Motor

The FUJINON XF90mmF2 R LM WR incorporates a newly developed Quad Linear Motor that delivers fast, quiet, accurate autofocus with higher torque. The lens focal length is equivalent to 137mm (35mm format equivalent) and has a maximum aperture of F2.0. The focal length allows you to shoot at a distance that won’t intimidate subjects, leading to more natural, candid results.

The high-speed autofocus is as fast as 0.14 seconds1 and provides a more versatile shooting experience, allowing photographers to quickly react to subtle changes in a subject’s facial expression.

Optical Construction

The optical construction of 11 elements in eight groups (including three ED glass elements) minimises vignetting to create ultra-sharp images with rich bokeh even at the widest aperture of F2.0. The rounded diaphragm makes it ideal for portraiture, sport, and other applications.

Beautiful bokeh and stunning depth

The rounded aperture blade edges combined with the optical construction designed to minimise vignetting creates beautiful circular bokeh right to the edge of the image.

The differentiation between the razor sharp subject and the bokeh in front and behind it, enables stunning depth.

Close focus and magnification

The FUJINON XF90mmF2 R LM WR can close focus to 60cm and is also capable of
0.3x magnification (35mm format equivalent). The close focus allows photographers to isolate key parts of a subject to shoot dramatic portraits or close-ups of flowers and insects.

Weather, dust and freeze resistant

The FUJINON XF90mmF2 R LM WR also features a weather and dust resistant structure with seven seals on the lens barrel that protect it from rain, dust and splashes of water when shooting outdoors. The lens can also tolerate temperatures as low as -10°C.
